I. Product Introduction


Caberry DPS Deep Penetrating Sealer (also known as DPS waterproofing agent) is an eco-friendly, colorless, odorless and safe concrete protective agent. Based on the catalytic crystallization reaction mechanism of active substances, it is made by loading catalytically active additives into a variety of modified natural materials. It can penetrate 2-3 cm below the concrete surface, chemically react with alkaline substances in concrete, produce composite silica eutectic in pores and capillary pores, seal concrete, enhance the strength and hardness of new and old concrete, and provide good air permeability for concrete. It is not a simple concrete waterproofing agent, but an all-round concrete protection agent, which can integrate with concrete structure to achieve permanent waterproofing, anti-corrosion and strengthening effects. It is a new generation of environmentally friendly waterproofing material vigorously promoted by the National Building Waterproof Materials Association.

V. Construction Method


  1. Substrate Treatment: Before use, the base surface must be completely cleaned and ensure that honeycombs, pockmarks, cracks and looseness of the base are repaired. Wet the base surface with water, but there is no standing water on the surface (saturated surface dry state is the best), which is an important prerequisite for penetrating crystalline waterproofing performance.
  2. Material Preparation: Do not dilute DPS or mix it with other liquids. Spray directly with the original solution. Shake the solution well before use (at least 1 minute) until foaming. If the solution is frozen, wait until it is completely melted before use, and the material performance will not be affected. It is a high-quality water based concrete sealer and non toxic concrete sealer.
  3. Spraying Construction: Use brush, roller or large and medium-sized low-pressure sprayer. Ensure uniform application so that the surface DPS reaches saturation. For vertical walls, apply DPS from the bottom of the wall upward to ensure uniform application. Spray carefully to avoid omissions. Under normal circumstances, general concrete only needs to be coated with two layers of DPS, and fully use DPS in places with local high permeability and porosity. It is also suitable for bulk concrete sealer procurement for engineering projects.
  4. Defect Treatment: If the crack width is greater than 0.3mm, treat it as follows: Open a V-shaped groove at the crack with a depth of not less than 30mm, clean the V-shaped groove, rinse with clean water, spray DPS once after natural drying, then fill the V-shaped groove with plugging cement mixture, smooth it, and spray DPS twice more. It is an effective concrete crack sealer for micro-crack repair.
  5. Curing & Acceptance: The normal penetration time of DPS after brushing is 2-3 hours, and light touch is allowed 30 minutes after treatment. The ground can be walked on after 3 hours or when the surface is dry. 24 hours after spraying, backfilling or other sub-projects can be carried out. Water ponding test can be carried out 24-48 hours after completion, and sprinkler curing is required to prevent volatilization in high temperature environment. It is also an excellent concrete waterproof coating for long-term protection.
